We are hiring a Commercial Manager, as per the role, the manager will be responsible for the sales and business development & partnership elements of Augustus brands, including Lovin Dubai, Lovin Abu Dhabi and the 12 Smashi TV verticals. You will be confident in managing the commercial aspects of a portfolio, have the gravitas to deliver senior client counsel, and demonstrate the ability to inspire and lead a team. This position is well suited to an individual who thrives in a fast-past, dynamic start-up environment. The ideal candidate will bring energy and passion to everything he/she does, and will not be afraid to roll up his/her sleeves to tackle projects both big and small. SKILLS:
- Building solid relationships with customers, vendors and distributors, as well as sales and marketing teams
- Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities
- Directing marketing efforts by presenting market research to marketing directors and suggesting strategies to expand market research
- Assessing marketing and sales as well as supplier and vendor operations and recommending improvements as needed
- Preparing all documentation required for requests for proposals
- Researching emerging trends and recommending new company offerings to satisfy customers’ needs
- Developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect new clients, including the ability to qualify and close new accounts
- Effectively prepare for and manage business meetings
- Strategically and creatively build sales pipeline and maintain a high level of activity
- Effectively work with functional groups such as Sales, Data & Analytics and Content team to optimize campaigns to meet performance objectives

- Proactively monitor campaign performance and delivery goals, escalate delivery issues as necessary
- Track, optimize, and compile campaign analysis and custom recap reports for clients
- Contribute and improve team resources such as sales and process materials
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-6 years of experience in Digital Media Sales
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree is advantageous
- Proven business development, brand partnership, sales, or marketing experience
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional leadership and management skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Strong business acumen
- Detail-oriented and persuasive

BUSINESS ACUMEN:
- Demonstrate a track record of success in organic and new business growth; identify and qualify leads and independently managing pitch and conversion using structures for new business developments
- Ensure revenue and account profitability targets are met; structure and implement a plan of action for addressing revenue and profitability shortfalls
- Actively manage client team leads in delivery on allocated elements of financial deliverables including over‐servicing levels, contract completion, LPOs and reviews
- Demonstrate active involvement in internal and external marketing activity for the agency; for example, leading award entries, social media programs
- Complete timesheets at the end of each week, monitor completion by all direct report/s – mandatory
